After several years of dealing with the Cal/OSHA Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS), California employers now face the next phase in workplace regulation dealing with COVID-19: Cal/OSHA’s new “permanent” regulation that will be in effect for the next two years. The new regulation contains many of the same requirements as the ETS, but is streamlined and has some important flexibility as well.
