After several years of dealing with the Cal/OSHA Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS), California employers now face the next phase in workplace regulation dealing with COVID-19: Cal/OSHA’s new “permanent” regulation that will be in effect for the next two years. The new regulation contains many of the same requirements as the ETS, but is streamlined and has some important flexibility as well. Most importantly, the requirement to provide “exclusion pay” is gone. The bottom line is that California employers will need to comply with this new regulation for the next two years. But don’t worry – we’ve got you covered! This webinar will walk you through the new regulation and provide a step-by-step action plan for everything you need to do to comply. Start the new year off on the right foot and make sure you are compliant with the new Cal/OSHA regulation! A Fisher Phillips webinar.
