Iriany Sánchez
Iriany Sánchez is a dedicated community engagement professional currently serving as the Uplift Community Engagement Coordinator at the Economic Development Collaborative (EDC). She has a diverse background in communications and stakeholder relations, honed during her tenure as a Communications Coordinator at Bell Arts Factory from May 2020 to November 2022, where she developed relationships with artists, vendors and media outlets, organized community events and created compelling content. At PennyMac Loan Services, Iriany managed loan processes, improved workplace culture and maintained stakeholder communication. Previously, as a Custodial Manager at Bank of America, she ensured compliance with regulatory requirements, earning recognition for her quality assurance results. Additionally, her role as a Sr. Insurance & Guaranty Post Closing Specialist/Auditor equipped her with strong analytical skills through performing audits and risk assessments. At EDC, Iriany is responsible for gathering input for regional economic development strategies, facilitating engagement activities and collaborating with partners across the six regions to enhance economic opportunities in small businesses and large industries. Iriany is passionate about contributing to the economic development and empowerment of communities along the Central Coast; her diverse experience and dedication make her a valuable asset to EDC and the broader community.
