
Jocelyn López
Jocelyn Lopez is a bilingual Client Engagement Advisor at the Economic Development Collaborative (EDC), serving the Latinx and Hispanic community. Jocelyn performs initial consultations and ongoing meetings with entrepreneurs and small business owners, connecting them with appropriate business advisors and the resources that align most effectively with the client’s needs. Jocelyn is extremely passionate about aiding marginalized communities and is dedicated to making a positive impact in people’s lives—all with the aim of creating meaningful change and empowering individuals within these communities.She received a Bachelor of Arts in Chicana/o/x Studies and Feminist Studies with a minor in Spanish from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Jocelyn is Lean Six Sigma certified and has completed training in cybersecurity, further strengthening her ability to support clients in process improvement and digital safety. Since graduating, she has worked in the nonprofit sector, where her enthusiastic dedication to aiding underprivileged communities has been unwavering. In addition to her professional achievements, Jocelyn is deeply devoted to arts and culture.
