The EDC Upskilling Roundtable is an employer-focused peer learning network for company leaders with upskilling responsibilities who want to create, expand or improve their company upskilling programs. The Upskilling Roundtable focuses on:

• Providing a network of professionals exchanging information about existing upskilling programs, including what is working, the challenges and new initiatives being considered. We’ll also look at successful company practices in recruiting, hiring, training and retention.
• Improving the quality and effectiveness of upskilling programs in Ventura County.
• Expanding access to upskilling programs for more Ventura County residents.
• Creating new and/or growing existing partnerships between companies and upskilling providers.
• Connecting with and hearing from national leaders in the field of upskilling.
• Ensuring Ventura County businesses have the skilled workforce they need to succeed and grow.
