Hybrid Event: The Business of Farming: Farming Ten years & Beyond
Over the last two years, the USDA Beginning Farmer and Rancher initiative has determined that farmers and ranchers across the country have encountered challenges with access to capital and access to land. Building Business Acumen One-Step-at-a-Time challenges entrepreneurs, farmers, ranchers and business owners to engage with the language of Business to improve their access to financial resources. As a community of business organizational partners, we are making a focused effort to support our California farmer community. The three half-day workshops will take you from developing your business plan to funding, and import-export support resources. Each workshop will build upon the next and is intended to be engaged as a complete business series. These workshops are open to the public, tailored to farmers, ranchers, entrepreneurs and small business owners for building a solid business foundation. Topic: Agricultural Imports (Panel), Agricultural Exports (Panel) and International Trade Resources (Panel) Location: ONLINE or in-person at 4001 Mission Oaks Blvd, Suite A-1, Camarillo, CA 93010. An SBA hybrid event.
