REIMBURSEMENT FOR EMPLOYEE TRAINING
ATTRACT, RETAIN & UPSKILL YOUR WORKFORCE
The Economic Development Collaborative helps companies access funds to offset employer costs for customized, job skills training thanks to a contract with the Employment Training Panel (ETP). Employers in manufacturing, biotechnology, agriculture, nursing and healthcare, construction, high technology services, multimedia and entertainment, goods movement and transportation logistics can access this funding.
QUALIFICATIONS
To benefit from this program, employers must be actively paying into the California Unemployment Fund on behalf of employees. Employees must:
- Complete between 8-200 hours of training per employee
- Retain their job for 90 days after completion of training
- Be employed full-time and be paid at least the ETP minimum wage
- Maintain and present a valid Social Security Number
