EDC Governance
The EDC Board of Directors sets policy priorities and provides oversight over the organization’s performance.
- Leadership: The EDC Board of Directors is a select group of leaders invited to the table for their vision, passion and ability for setting priorities and positively impacting our region’s economic vitality. Board positions are by nomination only.
- Impact: Board members participate peer-to-peer with visionary leaders, providing guidance and input into our organizational strategy and capacity for delivering outcome-driven economic development services in Ventura County.
- Public/Private Sector Collaboration: Board members work side-by-side with elected officials and top-level public sector staff in a way that fosters ongoing relationships and communication, contributing to public/private sector collaboration and influencing policy and resource allocation.
- Perspective: Board members contribute invaluable insight and understanding into the region’s business community and economic landscape, and of the assets, regionally and statewide, contributing to our economic competitiveness.
